Who We Are

The Childcare is Fundamental awareness campaign is an initiative of Douglas County Childcare Coalition and the Douglas Educational Service District. The aim is to build awareness and readiness for action that improves access to quality childcare in Douglas County.

The membership of the Douglas County Childcare Coalition is made up of several sectors including early learning, business leaders and employers, education and workforce, government officials, funders, and interested community members. About the Douglas ESD

The Douglas ESD provides high-quality, equitable, and locally responsive educational services to our regional community and thirteen school districts. The agency offers special needs, nursing, speech and behavioral services, early learning, education services, information technology and administrative support services to schools and the community.

The Douglas ESD houses multiple Early Learning programs and services including:
