I’ve worked in affordable housing, economic and community development for over a decade in Southern Oregon because I want to help make my community a healthy and happy place to live. Recently I changed work to focus on early childhood (special) education. I’ve learned the first years of life are the most critical for the children’s brain development. Early experiences create the foundation for healthy physical, emotional, and cognitive development for the rest of their lives.
